Does the EMDR Kit Wireless work without a smart device or via PC/MacBook?

The EMDR Kit Wireless is designed to be controlled exclusively through our dedicated mobile application. It is not compatible with desktop operating systems or standalone manual operation.

PC and MacBook Compatibility

Currently, there is no software version of the EMDR Kit application for Windows or macOS.

The hardware communicates using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols that are specifically optimized for mobile operating systems. Because of this, you cannot control the kit directly from a laptop or desktop computer.

Operation without a Smart Device

The EMDR Kit Wireless cannot be operated as a standalone device. The smartphone or tablet acts as the "brain" of the system, allowing you to:

• Control the speed and intensity of the stimuli.

• Change colors or light patterns.

• Update the firmware of your hardware.

• Sync multiple components (LightTube, Pulsators, and Headphone) simultaneously.

Supported Control Devices

To use the kit, you will need a device running one of the following:

• Apple iOS: iPhone or iPad (iOS 14.0 or higher).

• Android: Smartphone or Tablet (Android 9.0 or higher).

Using a mobile device ensures that the therapist can easily adjust settings during a session without being tethered to a desk or a computer station, providing more flexibility in the treatment room.
