How do I install the app?

To control your EMDR Kit Wireless, you must download the official EMDR Kit app on your smartphone or tablet. This app allows you to customize speed, width, color, and synchronize your Pulsators and Headphones for effective for effective bilateral stimulation and working memory taxation. 

For iOS (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Open the App Store: Tap the App Store icon on your device.

  2. Search: Type "EMDR Kit" into the search bar.

  3. Download: Look for the EMDR Kit logo and tap the "Get" button.

  4. Permissions: When you first open the app, it will ask for Bluetooth permissions. You must select "Allow" to ensure the app can connect to your Light Tube and Pulsators.

For Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store: Tap the Play Store icon on your device.

  2. Search: Type "EMDR Kit" into the search bar.

  3. Install: Select the official EMDR Kit app and tap "Install."

  4. Permissions: Android devices require Location Services and Bluetooth to be enabled for the app to discover wireless devices. Ensure you grant these permissions when prompted.


App Language: 

Currently, the app is only available in the languages English and Dutch. Please rest assured, the app is quite easy to use. 


Connecting Your EMDR Kit parts

Once the app is installed, follow these steps to start your first session:

  • Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is active in your phone or tablet settings.

  • Turn on your hardware: Switch on the LightTube using the button on the side. Shake the Pulsators to activate them.

  • Pairing Mode: Once activated, the components enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue light on the LightTube and the Pulsators.

  • Connection Window for Pulsators: The Pulsators will remain in pairing mode for 30 seconds. If they are not connected within this period, simply shake them again to reactivate.

  • Open the menu in the app: Navigate to the menu in the top left corner and select "Choose Devices."

  • Select Components: Tap on the signals for the Light Tube and Pulsators in the app to connect them. If a signal is not present, check if the Light Tube is turned on and if the Pulsators are still in pairing mode (flashing blue). 

  • Headphones: Please note that the Wireless Headphones are connected directly through the Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet, rather than within the EMDR Kit app's device menu.

App Updates

We regularly release updates to improve performance and add new therapeutic features. We recommend enabling "Automatic Updates" in your device settings so you always have the latest tools for your EMDR sessions.

Technical Note

The EMDR Kit app is designed to work with most modern smartphones and tablets. If you cannot find the app in the store, ensure your device’s operating system is updated to the latest available version.
