The EMDR Kit Classic is a tactile, "plug-and-play" device designed for reliable EMDR therapy. Unlike the Wireless version, all settings are adjusted directly on the handheld controller using physical buttons.
The Button Interface
On/Off & Start/Stop: A brief press turns the controller on. Once active, another brief press starts or pauses the stimuli across all connected parts (Light Tube, Pulsators, and Headphones).
Menu [M] Button: This is used to enter the settings menu and cycle through the different adjustment categories.
Navigation Arrows: Once you have selected a category with the [M] button, use the Left and Right arrows to change the specific mode or value.
Speed (+ / -): Dedicated buttons on the right side to immediately increase or decrease the pace of the session.
Volume (+ / -): Dedicated buttons on the left side to adjust auditory levels in real-time.
Settings Menu (The 7-Step Loop)
Pressing the [M] button cycles through these settings in order. Use the Navigation Arrows (left / right) to adjust them:
Intense: Changes the vibration strength of the Pulsators.
Color: Changes the color of the light dot (includes a "Random" option).
Light: Switches the Light Tube between Sweeping (smooth movement) or Blinking (jumping from end to end).
Width: Narrows or widens the horizontal path the light dot travels.
Bright: Adjusts the brightness level of the Light Tube.
Audio: Toggles between Regular (consistent) or Random (irregular) sound patterns.
Tone: Adjusts the pitch height of the auditory pips.
Power and Battery Indicators
The display screen uses specific symbols to show the power status:
Animated Battery (Empty → Half → Full sequence): The controller is currently charging
Full Battery Icon: Charging is complete, or the battery is full
Partially Filled Battery: The battery is partially full and currently in use without a power connection
Empty Battery (Outline only): The battery is nearly empty and requires immediate charging.
Quick Maintenance Tips
Auto-Shutdown: The controller will turn off automatically after 1 hour of inactivity to save battery.
Reset: If the screen freezes, unplug the power cable, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in.
Connections: Ensure all cables (Light Tube, Pulsators, Headphones) are pushed firmly into the top of the controller. If a connection is loose, the controller may not allow certain settings to be adjusted.
